I made a step Stool for my Grandson to use in the Kitchen. He always likes to help out. I saw several plans on the Internet and most used Oak. But I thought that would weigh too much so I just used Pine from HD. Worked perfectly. Its nice and light weight yet sturdy.

Very nice stool. kids need them to get at working height but us adults d to toe reach the high stuff.

I made one a while back from a photo I saw in one of the gift magazines on the airlines.

I think the stool is great as well as the grandson helping out. I can cook and bake fairly well from helping and watching my mom and now my two help me out. Stools are great. Good parenting and good woodworking.!
