Our beloved dog Ray-Ray was put down about two weeks ago. He was eight years old and had cancer. The cancer spred throughout his body the vet said there was nothing we could do for him. I wanted to make a memorial to remind us of him. I added a couple of picture to show you what he looked like. Thanks for looking.

Monty, I am so sorry to hear this. These guys come into our life and ask nothing more than to give us their love and affection. It is sad that they are only with us for a short period but the lifetime of memories that are left after their passing is more that worth the sadness.

I know how you feel! My dog ” SAM ” of 12 years was put down because of cancer in his neck. He was a Shepard. Till this day I still think about him. Don’t remember why he was put down, remember the memories he left you with. Sorry for your loss.

-- Have a great day.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Pets can occupy a special place in one’s life. I think the plaque is an appropriate memorial.

I can relate Monty. It is hard now but it gets easier with time. You’ll always remember him but only the time you got to spend with him, not the time he was taken away.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss of a good friend Monty. You did good by the memorial for him. A good reminder of a good friend.

Its amazing how close we get with our 4 legged family members. I noticed my “Home Boy” getting up a little slow the other day, and realized he isn’t that little pup any more. I shudder at the thought of not having him at my feet one day. I am really sorry about your loss….

I was there with our beloved yellow Labrador Deacon in May. It still hurts… But I must admit he was a joy worth having in our lives!

Whatever you do, don’t rush to replace the dog… We have a new pup (we were intending to get a pup before Deacon passed on) and he is absolutely NOTHING like the old boy…

So sorry to hear of your loss.

I lost my first dog (a beautiful Golden Retriever) due to complications from surgery. She was only 5 years old. Boy, was that a shock and did that HURT. Still does. Our second Golden is 8.5 years old and starting to slow down a little. I dread the thought of her passing sometime in the future. With no kids, they are our furry children. I enjoy every second I can with them. As someone once said, they leave ever-lasting paw prints on your heart.

The plaque is a beautiful dedication to your pal.
