This is a bluetooth speaker box that I made for my daughter for Christmas. It is made out of some left over Jatoba that I used for a coffee table for her a while back. It also has some spalted maple for the top and bottom panels.

This is based on the basic layout from a Steve Carmichae project. I made a few adjustments like the oversized box joints so they stand proud of the sides and copper rivets for a little splash. I also added the legs on the bottom so it stands more like a small piece of furniture.

All of the electronics came from Parts Express. Their kits were all sold out so I had to sort of piece it all together. It sounds pretty good.
