My first attempt at a wood toy. Made from mahogany and maple. I did not use a plans. Just studied pictures of the firetruck and other toy wood vehicles. The inspiration is a 1953 Seagrave firetruck. I learned a lot of lesson with this projects. This was a fun project to figure out. Definitely going to make more. Hope my nephew likes it for Christmas. Thanks for looking.

Yes Uncle Keith, you’ll get high praise from your Nephew. Maybe not a direct thank you, but a big smile, and playing with it will be his thanks.

Very nice. I’m sure your nephew will love it. What method did you use to keep the ladder elevated?
