Made this for my daughter who started college this year and said she needed a cutting board. I made this from scrap cherry, maple and back walnut. It was little challenging getting the pieces straight and square with a rip saw and hand planes. After the glue up, I planed it flat and was able to get it smooth and get rid of the tear-out with a card scraper. It is finished with three coats of mineral oil. It is going under the tree for her for Christmas. Hope she likes it. Thanks for looking.

Unless you have been slinging hand tools a while, take a bow, nice creation.
