For young and old alike. 36” round Red Oak Table.
Hand cut my dovetails to attach the bent lamination curved seat parts.
Took a while. Let each of the 8 curved pieces sit in the clamps 24 hours.
Bridle joints and half laps make the legs.
All from rough dawn red oak.
Upholstery isn’t my thing and I guess my first try should have been with something other than piecshaped.

That is a beautiful table and chairs. Very interesting design with the pie shaped chairs.

Excellent job R. Your joinery is flawless. I really like the curved stools. Well done.

Excellent design and craftsmanship. A bit whimsical. I wonder if a table with 6pie-shaped stools would be too small for a game of Trivial Pursuit . . .

I actually like this table a lot! In these days when the home is getting smaller and smaller, we need more furniture like this that’s functional and takes up less floor space! I reckon if you could produce more of these for this new hipster generation, you could definitely make a killing selling these!

I really appreciate how compact this set is when not in use – excellent for a smaller space where it might only see occasional use.
