Padauk, Walnut & Maple Cutting Board

Had some scrap wood laying around and decided to make a cutting board. Outer pieces are padauk. Middle is walnut with maple strips. The color of the padauk almost makes it look like it’s on fire.

I love Padauk so very much. That is a lovely cutting board indeed.

That first board should be used to cut up hot peppers, already looks like it’s on fire. The second one is nice, it just get’s lost trying to follow the torch.

That looks amazing – is that all natural wood or is it stained somehow? It’s lovely that you managed to find such a wonderful piece of wood that goes together like that!

Thanks! It’s just the color of the wood. The cedar is almost purple
