This is an urn that was ordered for the customer’s greyhound, Breezy. It is made of cherry with a walnut bubble on top and walnut X splines. The lettering is inlaid with turquoise. It is 8” square at the base and 8 1/2” high and finished with Danish Oil and clear satin lacquer. Lettering was CNC carved by my friend, Randy Smith…Thanks Randy!!

Cheers, Jim

I saw this email and was hoping it was not for one of your own pets. Nothing worse than losing a companion, but this is a really nice tribute

For some reason I really like the bubble as you call it on the top.It gives a monument look. Nice one Jim.

Jim….Very nicely presented!!! Great name for a Greyhound too. BREEZY…
Pet Urns are becoming popular in Australia too.
Cherry with Walnut Splines and Bubble go well together. The routered top and base looks good too.

By Gee Jim…. Your friend is a good carver. The Lettering with Turquorise filling is just right!!!

Thank you all for the nice comments.

Hi Joe. the ashes come in a 4 1/2” x 4 1/2” x 6” can and that is what determines the size of the urn.

Hi Cliff. She has another greyhound and it is sure a real nice dog. They were both rescue dogs from the racetrack where they were severely mistreated .
Randy has a CNC router and sure helps me out to make my projects look a whole better than I could ever do by hand.

Cheers, Jim
