A very good friend is retiring from our office and I wanted to present him with something to remember the team. With the help of another great friend, I gathered the materials and assembled this “between the honeydoos.” Its made of red and white oak with the center of poplar. The coin mount was tricky as I didn’t have the correct size bits to create the proper size. It does spin to expose the opposite side of the coin. I managed to barely ger-er-done before the presentation luncheon. That part went well. It may hold 50 coins more more…

Nice coin rack, I have seen and built a lot of coin racks in my time around the military but never one like this I like it.

This coin rack is a beautiful piece. It’s a very nice design displays a lot of nice craftsmanship.
