We have planned a large Thanksgiving party this year, and our dining table that I have built last year was not long enough to sit everyone. So I have built another one, a cruder version of essentially the same trestle knock-down table plan. Took me about 10 hours total to build, including hauling materials from local HD but not including finishing and edge-banding that I will do later.

I used full sheet of 3/4” birch plywood, so the tabletop dimensions are 96×34”. For legs and stretcher I used premium pine 4×4” and 2×6” boards, horizontal members attached to the vertical ones with 5/8” oak dowels.
