Kitchen Drawer Organization

We’ve had this annoying messy spice drawer in the kitchen for years. It was finally time to do something about it and get it organized! Upon the wife’s suggestion, I made up some simple dividers. These were cut out of a cedar 4×4 I had in the basement. The end result is a huge improvement! Blocks were added at the back of the spice drawer to prevent the jars from moving back too far. Since the spice drawer was such a success we decided to try it in the “misc. utensil” drawer as well. Although the result there wasn’t as visually stunning, the improvement is still notable!

I did the same thing not to long ago for my silverware drawer. I plan on doing to the rest of them… It does help keep things organized.

Looks good

Now that’s some fine work buddy! They look great! I’m impressed with the evenly spaced dadoes at the front to keep everything looking symmetric.

I’d suggest showing off your drawers to all the guys at work!
