2010 first shot gun season in Illinois. I did a quick mount on a piece of walnut, using the band saw, spindle sander, and router table.

Christine if you are talking about European mounts there are many examples on the Internet. I am currently trying out some my own patterns for stands that could be either hung on the wall or sat on a table. Most are pretty simple 3 piece designs, with some nice bandsaw and router work on the prettier ones.

The router was a nice touch, and I really like the finish.

NICE RACK AND MOUNT. I DID A EUROPEAN MOUNT A COUPLE YEARS AGO ON AN OAK BURLTHAT CAME OUT DECENT. LIKE YOUR MOUNT PLAQUE, YOU NEED A BRASS PLATE ON IT W/ DATE AND NAME. JUST A SUGGESTION. I DIDN’T ON MINE, BUT WISH I HAD, IT WAS FOR MY NEPHEW.
