Our customer requested to have their bed raised up.
After some thinking through different ideas, we designed a detailed block riser for the foot of the bed and an extended leg for the the head board feet. We also have to make block risers for the middle supports.
The feet were made up of Soft Maple and we used a Red Mahogany finish, with three coats of Laquer.

Nice solution and great execution Randon. Looks like they were born there. That’s a beautiful bed by the way.

Randon,
That’s really a nice bed; wish we could see the headboard, too. You did a great job of marrying the risers to the bed. Thanks for sharing.

Some of you wanted to see the whole bed. I didn’t get real good pictures, but should give you an idea. This is in a beautiful downtown Charleston home.
