My wife and I bought the original coffee table back in 2000. The top was made of pine and in 2016, right after I retired from the Army, my wife asked me if I could change the top. I had some reclaimed mahogany from an old building that came down in Shelton, WA and I got to work. It measures 1-1/4” x 52” x 38” with breadboard ends. The metal legs are wrought iron with a simple clear coat to preserve the color. The top was sealed with boiled linseed oil.
