I needed a place to set down my coffee and tv remote in my basement. Wanted to try building out of plywood without hiding the layers and thought this would be a great chance to practice.
Turned out acceptable for my purpose, but made a mistake cutting a dowel flush to the surface as you can see in the photo. Grrrr….

For a basement plywood endtable, looks pretty good. No frills manCave decor, i dig it. Whats the finish – guessing walnut danish oil?

Correct. I used Watco medium walnut danish oil for the finish.

Nice table. Good plywood is a very good material if you are not looking for the look of hardwood. It has a lot of uses in the shop and the home.
For that dowel, if you want to repair it, you could just drill it out a little bi with a forstner bit, glue in a dowel and recut it with a flush cut saw and you will be just like all the rest!!
Cheers, Jim
