My major project for 2018 has been these built-in cabinets and bookcases for our den. They’re made with cabinet grade plywood with pine face frames. The doors and drawer fronts are pine frames with 1/4” plywood panels. The double cabinet has two pull-out trays. There are 5 utility drawers, all dovetailed, and there are 3 file drawers put together with pocket hole joinery. The counter top is ash made from a three board glue up, and it is 10 feet long. All the drawers and trays are on full extension glides, and all the doors have soft-close hinges.

Storage space is key for any household and to have an ample amount built into the walls would help save so much hassle. The natural hues are also safe for new owners to love if you ever need to sell one fine day.

I saw folks mentioning the plans, but I don’t see a link to the plans anywhere. My wife and I absolutely love this design and features of the setup.
