This Santa is from a Harold Enlow rough out I got a few months back. I had it all finished and painted, but decided I wanted to do the chimney a little different. It looked ok as bricks, but I decided I wanted a stone chimney instead, so I spent a day re-carving and painting that part. It’s a minor detail, but I figured I might as well make myself happy with it, before I say it’s finished! Thanks for looking!

Very wll done. I do think the stone adds over what a brick look would have been.

Sorry, Harold doesn’t do internet! You can occasionally find some of his rough outs online at different carving suppliers, but usually you would have to buy directly from him at a carving show or seminar. And, since he is trying to slow down some in his old age, he doesn’t like travel much, so he only teaches around Branson or Harrison, AR. He teaches occasionally at the Pete Engler shop in Branson, the spring carving seminar in Springfield, and I got this at the Eureka Springs carving rendezvous. But you can find some of his patterns in the various books he has put out.
