Bandsaw box with Son

My son decided he wanted to make a “shelf drawer” for his godfather. So I told him we could. I’ve never done a bandsaw box before, and this was fun. Obviously I did the actual sawing, but he drew the shape and did all the gluing and applied about half of the finish before he lost interest! He’s pretty proud of it and shows people who come to our house his band box as he calls it.

It’s made from lots of red oak scraps.

Nice Pete. Great he likes showing his work off. I can’t wait to get my boy out there too.
