desk 103yr old according to dates i found while redoing. cust. grandpa’s so no value lost. stored in a barn, got wet and was in bad shape when i got it. lots of reglue ,striping, sanding,new doors. one missing ,one curl missing,. other bad things had to be fixed,ect. door on floor is how it looked all over. english chestnut stain,shellac finish.

What a striking piece Alan. Wonderful job refurbishing it. While it is most attractive from the front, I really like the look of the panels that make up the back. Very nice job.
