Federal table finished!

Finished this table awhile ago and never got around to updating the old post! please look back for pictures and story!!

Drawer is solid cherry with a bookmatch pomelle sapelle face veneer , cockbeaded in cherry and inlaid with mitered holly strings.

Third pic shows what happens when you dont pay close enough attention! a ruined drawer! had to remake the entire thing.

nice work a real shame about the drawer but weve all had it happen.beautiful table.

A very well presented and eye catching piece. Inlay and veneer work is a woodworking discipline I would like to tackle.

There are so many areas that could be talked about on this table. I love the veneer and the inlay work. The legs styling is very lovely all by itself. As I said – so much is so well done here.
