My version of Chris Schwarz’s tool chest. I replicated certain aspects of it by just viewing others chests , the exact dimensions however are my own. It is made of pine and has a cedar panel for the lid. I made this chest around a year and half ago so my tools have been upgrades significantly since but this box was designed to contain my miller falls handplane set and my stanley sweetheart chisels. I dont have a good front on pic. Now that i built my hanging wall cabinet this box is used to hold extra tools for when i have friends in the shop. The body was dovetailed by machines but i hand cut the aprons to match but took me a couple tries to get it

Very nice! Classic and well done.

Very nice indeed. The dovetails look great!

Nice job!

I first built the large ATC chest and then built the travelling ATC as well. I still work out of the large chest as my everyday storage and the smaller one has the tools that didn’t make it into the large one. Great projects and great storage. http://lumberjocks.com/projects/268506
