Recently got a new house and decided it needed some nice furnishing! Third item to be made is this barristers bookcase in walnut and cherry. Plans by the wood whisperer. I finished with four coats of tung and teak oil which allows re application over time. Everything went pretty well but the doors shake a bit sometimes when walking near it. overall I am happy with it. Thanks for looking!

I have no idea why, but these barrister style cases have always caught my eye. I hope to be able to make one down the road. Ive added this one to the favorites, so I can reference later on… Its simply amazing looking, you did a knock out job!

I like this a lot, very sharp looking and nice wood combination. And a great way to keep dust off the shelves!

Very good. Really nice looking piece. My wife would love one of these… Well actually she would 2 of them.

Have your say...
