Project Information

I've been making small boxes for the past 15 years, but this is the first posted to Lumberjocks. This set of three tea boxes were cut from one block of spalted maple wood. The bottom is to store tea in, the second for spoons, etc, and the top smallest one is for sugar. The boxes were sold as a set at our church youth auction. This is tea box # 35, all designed from scratch and no two alike. (Now If I can find out how to orient these photos correctly)

.... (Now If I can find out how to orient these photos correctly)

Simple solution - find the orientation of your phone that will give you correct orientation on the website
Advance solution - after taking picture do little tweaking with it (crop or resize and save) before uploading.

Beautiful boxes, btw

Nice cascading look to them. I like the curvy handles.

Nice looking box. What ever device you're using to take the pic, turn it 1/4 turn to the left or counter clockwise before taking the pic.

These BS boxes are really sharp looking, I like the cascade and the wood! BS boxes are so much fun with their endless possibilities. I'll look forward to seeing more of your creations. Welcome to LJ, btw!

Great idea. Nice work, too.
Are all three connected?

Boxes are not hooked together. Each have clear plastic bumpers for protection, but they can be displayed laterally if desired.
