So this project was all for me!!! I’ve recently gotten into cigars and wanted to build my own humidor (treasure chest!) I’m stoked with the outcome! I truly wanted a rustic / treasure chest feel. Bow is made from Black Walnut with a Curly made section on the top. I tried something new with this project and wanted to see how smooth i could get the wood. So the last picture is UNFINISHED sanded to 2500 grit. The amount of reflection blew me away and the amount of grain detail is beautiful. And on a positive note, the finish is ODIE’S OIL, and actually took very well even with the high level of sanding. This really was a fun project and oddly satisfying, kinda like a kid getting a new toy.

As always, even the pictures and comments!
