Fold-up Murphy-bed style picnic tables

I got the inspiration for this design after seeing a picture posted on FB and a bunch of comments from people saying they wanted one. I made a full size and kid size. I couldn’t sell either size so I trashed them and used the wood for other things. I live near an Amish type community now and hope to sell some of these in their market next Spring. I think the design is nice as you can fold them up out the way when not in use, and use the table top or either/both benches independently.

I like the design a lot. I could see it being very useful if a person has the right setting for it.

Thanks for the interest. I am not selling tables or plans. I just listed them in the projects section. The tables and benches have large diameter dowel pins in both sides that ride in a routed groove like an upside down J. The legs are hinged on the top and unfold when the table or bench is lowered, They weren’t hard to figure out once I saw a picture.
