Project Information
The boss decided this vanity needed a new top and sink. The old sink removed, the tile top and substrate removed, I was asked to build a new solid wood top and backsplash which is reminiscent of a washstand.
This is Florida Camphor.
The first picture is the finished product; the rest are the early dry fit, followed by various stages of production.
The two sides and back forming the backsplash are mitered; the back is glued to the base as are the rear of the sides. The front is screwed to the base through an elongated hole to allow for expansion.
