This is a Pine farm table with turned legs and routed edges. The table is 8ft by 40 inches wide. I used Early American for stain and sealed with 3 coats of wipe on semi gloss poly. To attach the top I cut grooves in the skirts that run the length of the table and installed z clips (some folks call them tabletop clips). Unfortunately the top still had a bit of bow to it and was not sitting flush on the skirts so I had to sink some 3 1/2 inch screws on both ends to get the top to sit flush. The funny thing is I covered the screws with 5/8 dowels and the dowels were the first thing the customer commented on, he really liked how they looked.

The dog in first photo is my pup Kona. She is Alaskan Malamute, German Shepard and Welsh Corgi mix.
