A couple of these were made over the summer for a local event in one of our center parks that ran each Saturday from September 15th through October 20. Routed front and back edges of base. Dowel assembly. Routed hollow for movement. What made these unique is the perfectly naturally aged white oak finish. Beechnut Gray organic stain was used on cut edges, which happened to perfectly blend in with the aged sufaces. No other finish applied.

I fell in love with the seasoned faces on this one board I have. Just enough width and thickness for such a project.
