These are a few family Urns I made to hold my relatives in. The figured walnut with the maple ring is my mothers Urn. I turned three separate bowls and lid to make this design and capped it off with a cross from her rosary . I made it using all my talent to give back what she gave me Love. The second bowl was my cousins who was a cattle rancher so I made a rosary on top to make it look like barb wire. I then carved a Star on top for our beloved state of Texas. A true south Texas rancher with all the grit. The third bowl I turned for my female cousin who was a plant freak who was happiest in her garden. I used walnut with my usual textured painted technique I invented for contrast. I then capped it of with white Mitsumoto trees coming out of a walnut burl. All this and Heaven too.
