I first built one of these folding Router tables back in 2012, and it has worked great for the last 6 years. But of course, using it over time I did find a few improvements I could make. So this is the updated and improved version.
It features a 30×20” top, aluminum bodied fence, and well organized storage underneath. Best of all, it can fold flat for transport or storage without using tools!
If you want to build your own, you can watch the build on my Woodcademy TV show on Amazon, and anyone can download the complete plans for free!

Handi, sometimes this is just what the Doctor ordered.
A woodworker with very limited space could still get a regular sized router table, or a person with one already, but in need of another on a project with multiple cutters to make either stile, and rail cuts, or a build up cut where they didn’t want to tear down a set up every time they swapped profiles. Who doesn’t own 2, 3, 4, routers, this would enable having a pretty capable table for each of several routers, all set up for their intended job.
Nice post, thanks for sharing.

Very nice portable router table…It puts everything right at your disposal….it’s always a good idea to have a 2nd r.t. ready when you need it….I built the Norm r.t. some years ago, but having another one is not a bad idea….Thanks for sharing and posting….!!!

Great Job and idea! Wish I saw your plan before I bought the Kreg table and stand. I have limited space.
And I would have saved $.
