This is a wall decoration carved in the Pacific NW style of my two miniature dachshunds and their common ancestor – a wolf. The dogs are carved in relief with typical ovoids, split U’s, etc. Their eyes are set with tiger-eye stones. The wolf head in the center is fully shaped with cat-eye shell insets for the eyes and symbolic eagle & orca. The carving is in poplar with acrylic paints.

Photos: 1. complete carving, 2. back panel w/slot for wolf head, 3. wolf head (unfinished), 4. unfinished parts assembled, 5. Right side dachshund, 6. wolf head w/orca

I really like this piece as I am found of that Pacific Northwest style!
