Hey Lumber Jocks, Its been a while since i posted anything. I just completed this mallet. I said why not make it a little fancy. So i looked on line and seen some gavel and used a gavel design’ However i made it big and tough. It is made out of lamanated mabel and black walnut. Thanks for looking.

You could also use it when you are appointed Supreme Court Justice.
Nice job.

Thank guys for your nice comments. This summer was a hot one in S.C. and i just did not feel like doing much with wood the last summer. I should be posting some more projects in the future. Thanks

Man that is a cool malle, Monty. Remember it is not just for looking at. It is for whacking! That is what I have to tell people when I give them a mallet

Great looking hammer. I know a n auctioneer who’d love a hammer that big.
