2016 – Cherry wood bench made for a neighbor, tree was planted 50 years ago. Her father kept the wood from the trunk when the tree died. It was eventually used as a walkway in their lawn, exposed to the elements. They were taking the 3 slabs to the dump because the had a lot of termite damage and rot. They asked if i would be interested, if there was any pieces usable. 1 and 1/2 had some potential. The slab was power washed and dried before the first photo.
I surprised them a few months later with the bench.

What a lovely gesture to have done for thy neighbor! I usually exchange food dishes with mine! It would be great to have a bench for a change! LOL

Have your say...
