Cleaning out the old wood buried in my shop and found some cedar left over from my outdoor stair replacement, twenty five years ago. I originally made two about 15 years ago so I added two more. Not exactly the same (little longer- little wider). The originals lasted so well that I decided not to change much. Refinished the originals and now have four.

Timeless design for a Shoreside location. Joinery makes it correct too.

Nice job, thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comments. Didn’t realize I had that cedar still laying around. It took some careful cutting to get every little bit of wood out of the those old stair treads (rot and large fractured knots in all the wrong places). One less thing to move when we finally get out of here, hopefully in the next 6 months.
