Chunky legs table

I had a customer who showed me a photo of a table very similar to this sold by Pottery Barn for over $1000. She wanted the same chunky leg style but at a more affordable price. I found some reclaimed 4×6 beams some guy was giving away on Craigslist, stripped the paint off and used those for the chunky legs. The table is constructed of Pine and Doug Fir. I used Jacobean stain from Varathane and sealed with 3 coats of wipe on poly.

Now that is a nice chunky leg style table, and the K 9 is also mighty fine.
Bet your costumer enjoy this one, job well done.

Great looking table. Well done. If you sold it for under $1000, your client got a bargain.

Looks like a Trifecta to me.

1) Has to be a happy customer if she went in for less than a grand there, certainly she got a LOT more than PB would have given her.

2) Awesome on you using reclaimed wood.

3) Pup looks like a wise shop pal, keep your tools safe.

Thanks for posting, and Congrats on your 3.
