Finally got around to finishing this Plum Vase. 3.5” tall, 3.75” across. Finish is a coat of oil.

John
Nice job on the vase but I notice it does not have your typical nice shine on the finish. Just kidding.

I like it John. It has some distinctive looking grain. I had some small pieces of plum once and everyone of them cracked beyond repair. Looks great.

I assume the live edge is a burl? Love the grain! Better watch out, going to be in your area this weekend, save you a spot in the Legion Saturday?

I like the shape. I am going to have to remember to try that next time I turn a live edge bowl.
