Hi folks,

I made the frame for this kayak from fir and pine tree branches. In this video I am showing different options for its skin as well as the water tests of my DIY kayak.
I tried a regular tarp, plastic wrap and a polymer reinforced skin. The video has detailed instructions and plans. Yes, you can build a fully functional kayak for a few $! )))

well, anybody that can make furniture with a match (fire) can build a kayak with stretch wrap and a stick.
Imagination at it’s best !!
