Horse Tack Chest

Apparently at some horse shows the only equipment that can brought into the stables is what can be carried in a tack chest. We built this for a fellow teacher whose wife is into competitive horse competitions. Constructed of solid red oak, red oak ply, spring loaded handles, gas piston lid supports and locking hasp. The chest holds a carry box, bandage holder, sliding top tray, and removable false bottom. The original plan called for casters but the customer was going to install those
