Another Walnut tray/cutting board

Walnut board bokmatched from nice figured board. I hand shaped the bottom of the board to create a nice natural curve up to the rounded edge. Then added 1 inch rubber feet to keep solid and off wet counter tops.

finished with mineral oil/wax.

I love the simplicity of this. Where did you find your rubber feet?

McLeanVA – try Home Depot….they have 1 and 1.5 inch ones. I put them on all my end grain butcher blocks as well.

Another winner los.

I have to try and find those feet at the local HD. I haven’t seen that style before, but like them better than the last ones I used. I have another end grain board that needs a couple more coats of oil, then feet and I like the looks of these.

I like the handcrafted, bottom edge too.
