This napkin holder is made of black walnut and mounted on top of a square lazy Susan, which is made from walnut and maple. I did a square base so I could easily add the walnut trim which stops things from flying off when it’s spun. It measures 8”x 8” so it fits nice on a smaller table and is really functional. Using a square table instead of the traditional round one made putting this one together quick and easy. The bottom of the lazy Susan is a solid piece of 1.5” maple cut into a circle small enough to be completely under the top when spun but still heavy enough to keep it in place. Finished with polyurethane this should be up to daily use.

Nice and clean. Love the walnut!
