I messed up when I made the hood 5/8” high so I put a 5/8” lift under the cab to bring it up to the right size to fit with the hood. Well I did not have the cool wheel jig that htl posted yet. Maybe it would have looked better if I had the right tires on it. Maybe next time I will check everything before I use the glue. I have not been able to post for a while so I was thinking that we could all use a chuckle. My grand son will love this this one. Ssssssh , he will never see the mistake . To him Papa just made him a new truck.

This looks real good Orville and it’s obvious that a lot of excellent work went into it.

G’day Bud, It really doesn’t matter if personal touches are added to a toy or model build; just as long as the recipient is the one who’s happy.
For my money sir, you’ve again nailed it, well done!

Olvile I see what your doing now, by keeping your models on the drill press table all you have to do is loosen it up raise the table above the saw dust and all is great.
Again nice job and keep it up!!!
