I bought Nick Ferry’s plans some time back and just now got around to building it. I highly recommend it! This thing is nice! I just made a couple of modifications for my needs. His plans create a 24” crosscut capacity and I just made mine about 21”. I also wanted to use Rockler’s delux hold down clamps that had 3” T-bolts so I had to take the T-tracks back out and cut a notch to allow for inserting bolts inside the fence rather than through the slots in the back fence.
For safety, the slots in my out-feed table stop the sled before the blade cuts through the blade guard.

Looks real handy. What plywood did you use to build it?

Thanks! I used 3/4” Baltic Birch plywood from Rockler. It’s on sale this month for 24”x30” pieces which is why I went ahead and pulled the trigger and built the size I did.

Heading to Rockler myself before the 30th to grab a bunch of those panels. Good deal.
Nice looking sled, safe too.
Thanks for posting, and Congrats on your 3.
