Stelios (Steliart) recently posted his ‘Potato Storage Box’
http://lumberjocks.com/projects/395017
That got me thinking of an old project I did and never posted it.
My box sits in the laundry. It holds potatoes, onions and shoes. Yes shoes.
They are kept well apart so there is no issue with smelly shoes contaminating the vegies
The box it made from shiplap pine left over from a wall partition I did several years ago.
It has severd well for over 20 or more years.
Thanks for looking.

While a nice looking piece of furniture, the smelly shoes issue was a cracker….

The smell of onions would probably be an improvement for my shoes Grumpy!

Great craftsmanship as usual my friend.

Cool looking storage bin Tony. Maybe the shoes add some flavor to the veggies. This could of been posted in I’m a man I can fix that. LOL.

That is a space saving idea, Tony. I wonder if it goes the other way and the shoes smell like onions…Just kidding…..................Cheers, Jim

If I had one of these in my house, those would have to be some mighty big onions, if it had some of MY shoes in it. Just saying. Good looking storage box!

A very nice potato box my friend you did, wish I would have seen yours before building one myself lately, I would have stolen the idea of the slope top that I didn’t think about. Excellent work !!!!
