This pair of bookshelves was a “busy work” project for a few students a couple of years back. The materials were either off cuts or donated scraps from another project. It was constructed from 3/4” Red Oak ply (blasphemy to paint it, I know), in a traditional face frame design. Modern adjustable shelf standards were used and a spray lacquer primer and top coat were the finish. We had a piece of patterned paneling lying around that we used for the backs These were sold to generate money for the program.
