Hi everyone. It feels so good to be posting something here. It has been over a year since I’ve posted anything other than a few comments I’ve made with a few folks since July of last year. Last month felt so good to get back in the shop. My tools were happy to see me…lol. Anyhoo, I made this tray for a super nice and very talented jewelry designer/artist, for her 10th year in the business of her gallery. She is a wonderful lady, and 1st class all the way. The woods here are Oak with Walnut trim, (both over 40 years old), and Maple for the nicely contrasting splines. Finished with 3 coats of Bio Shield wood counter finish. As always, Thank you for any and all good/bad/ugly comments will be appreciated. Also know that I am in good health. I started delivering auto parts last July, (a perfect side job for any retiree that wants a few extra bux in their wallets or purses) and since January of this year, 2018, I am part time, so I’m finally catching up, and hope to have extra time for some shop time.
