This is one of my early hand tool projects from 2013. It is made from black walnut that my brother in law gave to me. He had it milled up from a downed tree at his home in Athens, OH. The wood was air dried and nice to work with hand tools. I hand ripped and planed some of the 3/4” stock down to 1/2” which was new to me, but went pretty well. I gave the clock to my brother in law as a Christmas gift to thank him for the wood.
