OK, here is my conspiracy theory: There is deep-state within LJS comprised of “Made Woodworkers.” Behind the scenes, the “family” controls everything. You name it – new projects, views, comments, favorites, top daily threes, blogs, product reviews, etc.
Rumor has it during Initiation, associates are escorted through a ritual. Inductees are lead from one tool station after another and gain secret teachings. The ceremony conveys the meaning of secret signs, handshakes, and passwords. Finally, sawdust is thrown and associates swear to secrecy “morte senza strumento,” Death without Tools.
I believe the family views the construction of red oak, tissue box cover as a strong indication of worthiness for membership. I hope to know soon.

LOL. I don’t know about your theory but you did make a wonderful tissue box cover! Nice job and I like the grain matching. This may just get you into the “secret society”. :-)

Like Jeff said, the grain match will definitely help your induction.
BUT looking at your previous entrys – me thinks you are already in the coveted covey

DeLayne, I like you, your ate up like I am. You certainly make me chuckle.
Eggcellent tissue box here, grain wrap is flawless, and that makes a simple wood box a work of hmmmmmm something.
Yep, you are a member alright, thanks for posting.

Nice box! If you really want to stir it up, just don’t post for a couple weeks and see the rumors fly! Then come back with a kidnap/escape story, where you used some old fashioned tool you found on the premises. :D
