This is another relief carving based on a design of M. C. Escher – basswood, 22” x 20” – stained
Description: On the drawing table is a design where three colors of lizards fit together – a tessellation. The lizards along the edge have grown tired of being trapped in the design, and have crawled out, over a book, a drawing triangle, a dodecahedron, an ashtray – only to be pulled back into the design.

-- Phil Allin - There are mountain climbers and people who talk about climbing mountains. The climbers have "selfies" at the summit!

That’s the print I have in my office! Always wanted to do a 3D of it! Looks great!

Escher or not that is pretty cool. How much time in something like that?

Thanks for posting.
