Hi,
I’ve been working on handmade dovetails for about a year and a half and thought it was about time I showed some of my work to the lumberjock community.
I hope you like it and am looking forward to your comments.

Quite a collection of corners, do you complete boxes? I only ask because like you I did corners for far too long, going to 4 sides proved daunting. At least for longer than I would have thought it would take to get 4 sides, square and true.
Thanks for posting.

These are all very creative and nicely done. They are real eye catchers.

TOTALLY IMPRESSED! I am just now starting my journey down the hand cut dovetail trail. I am not even close to this quality yet. Did you use any type of guide or just freehand? Also what type of wood did you use in the second photo?

Thanks for your comment.
I’ve been trying to get my dovetailing technique up to a quality level that matches my expectation before attempting four sides ,square and true.
I now feel that i’m getting there ….
I have been working on a workbench and plan to ,as soon as that will be done, to include these joints in future projects.
