Wife person has been wanting a stool for her sewing projects that was taller than a kitchen chair but shorter than a bar stool. Made a mistake of showing her some plans in my latest Wood magazine. A few contemplations and tweakings later, this is the result.

Red oak legs and a scrap walnut seat. The center post is a piece of 3/4” black iron pipe that I had threaded at Lowes and some floor flanges. It’s adjustable from 21” to 26”.

Wife is very happy with it so guess I’m good for a while. At least until tomorrow.
